Sponsored Skydive in aid of Bristol Children's Hospital

Nicola Brewer is very bravely doing a sponsored skydive for the Bristol Children's Hospital on the 17th May 2014, here's her story:

Wallace & Grommit go skydiving

"Bristol Children’s Hospital is a charity and place that is close to my heart.  My daughter had an operation at BCH and is still under their care.  When we were there, I saw so many poorly children, some who had minor conditions, some who had serious conditions and some who very sadly wouldn’t reach their next birthday.

The staff are amazing with the children and also with the parents.  The support staff are great too, from those who provided food and drink at all hours to the ones running the play room and activities.  All this made our stay there bearable through a difficult time.

With the amazing treatment and care provided by Bristol Children’s Hospital, many people’s lives are changed for the better.  My daughter’s life certainly was and we owe this to the skills and knowledge of the fantastic team there.

Thank you is just not enough and I would like to show my appreciation and give something back so others can benefit.  To do this I am stepping way outside of my comfort zone and taking part in this skydive to raise money for Bristol Children’s Hospital.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and I would appreciate any donation, no matter what size."

So if you'd like to sponsor her go to https://www.justgiving.com/Nicola-Brewer1/

She's beeen very busy basking cakes and selling them to her colleagues all year to raise extra funds for the event and is funding the jump herself so that all of your sponsorship money goes to the Hospital.

Well done Nicola, we're all so proud of you!
