Lichfield Ladies' Hollywood Ball

Lichfield Ladies Circle organised a lavish dress to impress Hollywood ball to raise crucial funds for Birmingham Woman’s hospital and Violets in Bloom charity. The event, held at Hawkesyard Estate Golf club, Rugeley, on Saturday the 18th of October raised a staggering £1350.00. On arrival the guests were met on the red carpet by paparazzi photographer Mark Zaccaria and the venue was decorated with life size gold oscars. Monies were raised through a charity raffle, champagne toss and an auction for a giant sized teddy bear. Live Band “the supersets” provided an evening of entertainment with an extremely versatile performance of well-known floor fillers from all eras, followed by a funky Disco set that left guest dancing the night away.

Lichfield Ladies Chair Sue Kershaw commented: “It was an honour to attend the Hollywood ball and witness the fantastic generosity and spirit on the night. It was fantastic to see so many people having a fabulous night whilst contributing to a wonderful charity, it really added to the outstanding atmosphere on the night. The success of this event truly amazed me. The generosity of the local community and the loyalty of the Lichfield Ladies Circle helps to drive fundraising forward each year”.
